Hello everyone. Our front yard is covered in Tulip blooms that have not found equal in all of our city. They boast stripes of peach and deep purple with deep black interior. Our orchid tree is now taller then my 5'3 frame for the first time in four years and covered in sweet smelling lilac blooms bigger then my hands. The beauty that surrounds our home is abundant yet so very quiet. Even the newest Moose (our puppy) Barros Family member is a quiet afternoon sleeper in his crate.
The Barros house just simply waits. So many of our son's friends pass through the pages of lighthouse posts on face book and we often wonder when is it our turn? We don't demand a pitty party but wish you all to know that our love and longing to adopt is still as strong as it ever was. God's call for this family is still alive and well to persevere through more and more.
Thank you for your prayers. We await ONE more piece on its way from Brazil. Please pray this adoption specific document will be prepared correctly, quickly and of course God speed of its arrival. Our son waits in Russia and we have not heard any news from him for almost two months.
God is forever Faithful so we lean on him for understanding and remember its our love for who God is that draws us closer not just for what He can do.
